Dilandau agreed to kill Kohaku in exchange for power from Naoya. Naoya has made a previous attempt on Kohaku's life, but she had managed to escape.

Naoya's psychological profile suggests dangerous levels of psychosis and sociopathy. Dilandau suffers from a similiar level of troubled behavior, but has less self-control and is less cunning.
