[...Okay. For a fact, those robots cannot be stopped. Yet. While standing guard and speaking with Detective Kiyone in the tunnels regarding the prisoners several days ago, the Malnosso's robotic abductors broke into the prison where Naoya and Dilandau were being held. Batman and Kiyone put up a fight against the machines, but were ultimately pacified and subdued by them before they took Naoya right out of the prison. Batman, for his part, ended up hurt pretty badly, so he's been in hiding for the past several days, only occasionally returning to meet with the League, and never for very long. The event didn't help matters at all.

And then there was Dilandau's escape. How he managed to get hold of his journal was a mystery to him. He certainly never let him have it... and investigations into the matter have so far yielded no results. This has been a very unpleasant streak for the Caped Crusader. …Of course, with Kiyone now missing and presumably sent home for good, Batman has a lot of work to do to try to fix the damage done by the Malnosso.

Now fully healed and ready to jump back into action, he's going to head back to League Headquarters (such as it is) and meet with his associates. Afterward, he's going on the hunt. Both for information on the escape (anyone connected with Dilandau or who talked with him over the journal) and for Dilandau and Naoya themselves. If he has any say in it, they're going right back into those cells. Watch your backs, gentlemen.

But before he heads out on mission from the Justice League’s house, he's got a few calls to make.]

[Bruce will be able to catch John at the very crack of dawn up and awake (likely before the others), preparing his own breakfast. Eggs and bacon. Delicious.]

[Unsurprised by this. He is a Marine, after all. He actually enters the kitchen with no fanfare or sneaking around. He is going straight for that coffee pot, though. It's been a long night. He needs to clear his head.

He gives John an acknowledging nod as he moves past, though.]

[John glances back at Batman. Ah, to see the Bat without being surprised by it. He gives him a brief look over.]

[Since Batman is searching for people connected to Dilandau, it won't be too hard to find one of the obvious connections from his own world.

Folken is walking towards community building #7 with a few bags of groceries at the moment. Yeah, he's not exactly aware that Dilandau has escaped since he made efforts to ensure Dilandau would be required to get in touch with them via the journals.

Of course knowing Batman, he probably knows Naria and Folken moved to a new apartment the same day Dilandau admitted to murder.]

Still no sign of Naoya or Dilandau. They're hiding well.

[Yeah, he's better. ...Also still pissed about what happened.]

[Ah, there's one of the people connected to Dilandau... he had spoken to him once before, he believed. Well. Time to go to work. Surprise: A voice from behind and from above.]

Folken.

They won't be able to hide for too much longer. There's only so many places to hide in a place like this. [With your prowling and the the rest of the League in and around a village this small...]

Dilandau's only a matter of time.

But Naoya? He's the smart one. I doubt he's is even in the village. I suspect he's hiding out in the mountains. It'll be much more difficult to track him through that terrain.

Not to mention that Aku has been spotted in the mountains.

Just makes it more interesting. [And not in the good way.]

As it stands, I have to work on security measures for the prison. It was woefully inadequate when I got down there and even with what improvements I made it wasn't enough.

It may be worthwhile to set up a guard on the entrance. I can do my part to take watch duty when we have prisoners, but I'll be more useful on the outside.

[If Folken is surprised, he sure isn't acting like it. He looks in the direction the voice seems to be coming from.]

Posting a guard from the League in the prison is a very bad idea. I'm the only one who doesn't lose anything by venturing into the tunnels. We can't risk any of you being injured down there.

We'd need someone we could trust from the village to do that. Someone who doesn't rely on supernatural or magical abilities to fight well.

Yeah, you're right. But with Officer Kiyone gone, we're going to need to find capable, trustworthy people. There's a lot of hero-types in this place, but it'll take some work figuring out which ones are dependable.

[That gets a raised eyebrow, but more for the "we need to talk" than the strange entrance. It actually wasn't well known that Dilandau got out, so Folken actually wouldn't be aware of it that I know of since it was doubtful Naria would mention that.] And I assume you wish complete privacy for this?

Yes. It's rather important.

[Not long after Bats runs into John, Clark will be sitting down at the table with his own breakfast. He's got his journal set to the side, open, but with the voice optioned turned off, and is flipping through it at a fairly brisk rate.

The current pot of coffee is all his doing.]

Yes. ...There are several that might be dependable, but many of them rely on their powers to make a difference. In the tunnels, they'd be useless.

We need to find the ones that aren't. Soon.

[He has a few ideas... but he'll have to do some more investigating on them first.]

Do you have a spot in mind then? [The roof of a building isn't an issue for Folken if Batman wants to go that route, Bats has probably seen Folken's large black wings and that unlike Luceti wings, they do work.]

I'll see if I can't find any people like that myself. [Unfortunately he hasn't talked to a great deal of people. He'll just have to get to know the people more. Socialize.]

[Batman looks up. ...Ah, the top of that community building. That should work. ...But a question does have to be asked before he takes Folken for a ride with the grapple gun.]
