First Night [Action]

[In the middle of the previous night, a note will be left under the door of Clark Kent. It reads as follows:]

Clark,

There are urgent matters to discuss. Be on top of Community Housing 7 at midnight.

[The note is not signed and not dated. Mysterious letter is mysterious. The only question is whether or not Clark will meet him there at the appropriate time. As for the rest of the night before then, Batman will keep tabs on Luceti. He's looking for anyone in particular he might find useful. If you want to be shadowed by this vigilante or speak with him feel free to be out and about minding your own business. Don't worry about finding him. He'll find you.

Be warned, he may not even stop to talk if he doesn't want to. That's just how he is.]

[If Batman happens to pass anywhere near house seven this evening, he just might spot a certain blonde woman sneaking out of her own house. Through the window. It's obvious that she's trying to be as absolutely silent as she can.

First, she drops a wicked looking scythe/axe to the ground. Next, she drops down herself.]

[Batman would surely never bother with a bald guy with a beard. But here he is anyways, walking to the general store, dressed in casual civilian clothing, wearing sunglasses to disguise those glowing eyes of his. Why would he do that to his hair? Why?]

[Derek is on his way out into the forest, and even though he doesn't seem to be trying to be furtive, he's definitely keeping as silent as possible and keeping his trail covered as he goes. He doesn't seemed to be armed with much more than a hunting knife and some rope.

There does seem to be something vaguely feral about him, though. Maybe it's the way he'll occasionally stop to close his eyes with his head cocked and...is he sniffing the air?]

[In the evening, Molly's taking a break from hat making in favor of taking a walk. It's cold and it's boring, so Molly's decided this isn't such a good idea. Still, she was told by her parents that getting some fresh air is good. Right. Consider it's her parents, she's not sure if she believes that.

At some points, she'll encounter rocks in the pathway. Being bored, Molly picks them up and, with a brief pink glow in her eyes, she throws them as hard as she can.

Those rocks pretty much disappear far, far in the horizon, never to be heard from again.]

[At some point during the evening, Terra will suddenly appear near the edge of town. As in, teleported. She glances around nervously, seemingly expecting trouble, then relaxes slightly as nothing happens. Only slightly.]

[Rydia exits her house quietly late at night--not exactly sneaking away, but still trying to make as little noise as possible. There's a whip coiled at her side and a rod with a bright crystal looped into her belt. She's not expecting trouble, but better to be prepared. Given her pace, it's likely that she's just out for some aimeless wandering. Her pensive expression certainly contributes to that impression. Upon glancing to her right, she notices the barracks and pauses thoughtfully.]

[Kurtis is out and about tonight, patrolling the town in the wake of the recent attacks. He's probably pretty hard to miss. From Community House 1 he'll first go to the square.]

[And stumbling out laughing from Good Spirits, Vash makes his way down the street singing happily to himself. Not exactly the most interesting type to stalk - but uh... he has a gun with him?]

[Due to recent events, Leonardo has been stuck with the responsibility of retrieving his brother's sai. It's a relatively long trip from his apartment to his destination, but considering it's night, he feels perfectly in his element. That is to say, sticking to the shadows and probably looking fairly suspicious. Force of habit.]

[If he happens past house 31 in the middle of the village, Batman will see a ~~short~~ height-challenged boy with cat ears working just outside the house, on the porch. A lamp made out of a glass jar sits on the porch railing, giving him light to work by.

Shouldn't someone be telling kids to go to bed at sane times?]

[If Batman's anywhere by the Avatar house this evening, he'll see Katara going through some practice forms. She's got a few buckets full of water beside her and is concentrating fully on the precision of her movements. After the recent battle in the square, she's determined not to let any sloppiness leak into her forms; she needs her responses to be automatic.]

[The letter is incredibly recognizable to Clark. The handwriting, the timing, even the mystery surrounding it... all classic Batman.

Heading out to the designated meeting spot dressed as his "Clark Kent" persona, he ponders when Bruce got here, what he'll have to say, and just how in general this meeting is going to go. As he makes his way through building seven and on to the roof, he steps out onto the middle of it to wait.

Batman will be there soon enough.]

[here have the kid with THE GIANT KNIFE ~~/zelda ref~~ walking by. he's just putting said knife away, and is a bit sweaty. he's also glowing just a faint blue, and that's getting fainter and fainter as he keeps moving into town. inspect?]
