The First Day - Origin [Action]

 [It's been a week now since Bruce landed in Luceti.  Being the detective he is renowned for back home, he was quick to study Luceti, the guide, and other aspects about the place as quickly as he could.  Being caught unprepared might be lethal.  So when he was confident he had absorbed enough through the guide, simple experimentation, and the like, he decided to strike it out and learn more about the people here.  He already discovered the existence of something called a "Justice League" here, but there was only one name that rung a bell.  Superman.  He didn't know who the Man of Steel was, save that he was a metahuman from Metropolis.  Relatively speaking, he was a new guy.   For now, though, he was going to avoid contact with him if at all possible.  If he was from his world, he might recognize him as Bruce Wayne, something he didn't want to risk.

Especially considering his Batman gear hadn't shown up yet.  Bruce was doing his best to gather supplies under the radar in case they didn't show up, but given Luceti's low-tech level, getting most of the gear he was acclimated to would be difficult without help.  But that wasn't about to stop him.

But either way.  Bruce will be wondering around Luceti for most of today, loitering at the library to read some, stopping by Good Spirits for a cup of coffee, browsing the stores, and making a stop at the Smithy.   He's a man on a mission.  Meet people, learn more about this place if at all possible.  And to play up his act a bit more, if you're a beautiful woman, expect him to be extra polite.  And don't be offended if he doesn't introduce himself as Bruce Wayne... a man has to be extra cautious in the unknown.]

(OOC: Replies will come from nocapesorcowls .  Members of the League who can identify him as Bruce Wayne may do well to keep their distance for now as a matter of preference, or expect to be lied to.  A lot.)

[He's not the only one wandering around the village. In an attempt to avoid a certain affectionate Master and the date that today is, Luka can be found walking around town as she sings (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4bfKL4Bmhs) without much care for the world. Though to be honest, more than just walking she's dancing softly and twirling around as she moves on, almost like a dancing spirit. May want to stop her, or follow her, before she's gone across the streets.]

[He's taken when he hears the voice, admittedly. He turns his head to the source, to see it coming from a very pretty young woman. When she passes by, though, he'll approach and speak up. And he might be clapping too. It's only polite.]

[Well, that makes her stop twirling around. She blinks, not recognizing the man approaching her and smiles warmly.]

I love to sing, even if it's not for payment of any sort. But I suppose I count as a professional as well. Music is what I live for.

[She laughs a bit, really, she's an android, people could go by 03 and it would still be valid. Her name is more than enough.]

[Okay, she's got some wit. She's definitely more advanced than than automatons that HARDAC produced, at least in communication. Some bad memories of the Batman replicant hit his head for a moment, but he dismisses it. Luka was built for a commercial purpose according to Winry, so...]

I did. I took care of a lot of it myself, but people here have been really helpful. It's pretty lucky.

[He... hopes it's nothing like HARDAC, but it's a seemingly innocent question enough.]

I see, well that's good. It seems this cycle most of the new people are intelligent enough to find the guide and such by their own. It's pleasing, I don't mind helping but I can't help but think that things must get boring for them when everyone is telling them the same thing.

[She nods calmly.]

Master, also known as Producer. Back at my world it's someone who pays for my services, they upload songs and music in my database and organize my performances. Here... It's most of a safety net, even if my Master can't give me new songs or doesn't organize performances for me to sing, it's good to know that he's there and I can trust him with my safety.
