The First Day - Origin [Action]

 [It's been a week now since Bruce landed in Luceti.  Being the detective he is renowned for back home, he was quick to study Luceti, the guide, and other aspects about the place as quickly as he could.  Being caught unprepared might be lethal.  So when he was confident he had absorbed enough through the guide, simple experimentation, and the like, he decided to strike it out and learn more about the people here.  He already discovered the existence of something called a "Justice League" here, but there was only one name that rung a bell.  Superman.  He didn't know who the Man of Steel was, save that he was a metahuman from Metropolis.  Relatively speaking, he was a new guy.   For now, though, he was going to avoid contact with him if at all possible.  If he was from his world, he might recognize him as Bruce Wayne, something he didn't want to risk.

Especially considering his Batman gear hadn't shown up yet.  Bruce was doing his best to gather supplies under the radar in case they didn't show up, but given Luceti's low-tech level, getting most of the gear he was acclimated to would be difficult without help.  But that wasn't about to stop him.

But either way.  Bruce will be wondering around Luceti for most of today, loitering at the library to read some, stopping by Good Spirits for a cup of coffee, browsing the stores, and making a stop at the Smithy.   He's a man on a mission.  Meet people, learn more about this place if at all possible.  And to play up his act a bit more, if you're a beautiful woman, expect him to be extra polite.  And don't be offended if he doesn't introduce himself as Bruce Wayne... a man has to be extra cautious in the unknown.]

(OOC: Replies will come from nocapesorcowls .  Members of the League who can identify him as Bruce Wayne may do well to keep their distance for now as a matter of preference, or expect to be lied to.  A lot.)

[See the kid start to recoil and look bewildered at the word "military" but it quickly banishes to leave even more confusion.]

A military group that protects people?

[That's totally unheard of, man. Anyway, his attention is taken as Bruce sets the airplane to fly. Goku skids after it running and making delighted sounds he will jump when the airplane starts to fall, as if trying to catch it before it crashes but it will avoid his hands.

The kid pouts but picks it up again and hurries back besides Bruce.]

They always run away from me when I try to grab them before they fall.

Yes, but... the paper airplane is in motion, right? If you reach for where it is, it'll move away. But... if you watch it and go for where it will be before it hits the ground...

[He picks up another one and lets it fly. And then he lunges forward to catch it before it hits the ground.]
